We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious PhD student to work on anti-stromal therapy in pancreatic cancer. The person will study how cancer-associated fibroblasts remodel the extracellular matrix of the tumour microenvironment and how this can be perturbed to ameliorate chemotherapy treatment. The PhD student will work in a multidisciplinary, integrative approach to perform high quality translational research with collaborative partners world-wide. The PhD student will get to possibility to work in Dr. Thomas Cox’s laboratory at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, Sydney, Australia for a period of 6-12 months.

The position is for 4 years.
