An Olympus IX81 is equipped with a manual TIRF (473 nm) and an Andor iXon EMCCD camera.

The microscope has 20x, 40x NA 0.6, 100x  NA 1.3 oil, and 150x 1.45 oil objectives, the 150x objective is optimized for TIRF. Light sources include both a Mercury lamp and a LED lightsource (465 and 525 nm).

In the microscope are filter cubes, for DAPI, one with a 535/50 emission filter and one with a 510 Long pass emission filter.
