Do you want to work in one of the best Schools of Pharmacy in the world? Ranked 6th in the 2018 QS World Rankings we are leading the way in pharmacy education and research. This post provides a fantastic opportunity to establish yourself in a post in our innovative and exciting School based in the Nanoscale and Microscale Research Centre (nmRC).
You will be enhancing the imaging capabilities of the nmRC and developing applications of the extensive suite of existing and new cryogenic preparation and characterisation equipment arriving at the nmRC in 2018. You will enable world-leading imaging and analysis of soft, organic and/or hydrated materials, including pharmaceutical and biological specimens, enabling a number of new research directions within the University. You will also develop the Centre’s strategic collaborations with industrial and academic partners.
You need to have a PhD submitted or awarded in a relevant area and knowledge and practical experience of techniques for imaging biological samples, such as light or electron microscopy.
