DESCRIPTION:\n\n\n\n\nThis condensed course is aimed at everybody\, who wants to understand the basic principles of optics and fluorescence in microscopy. Theoretical lectures are followed by practicals. \n\n\n\nThe course will cover: \n\n\nBasic Principles of microscopy\n\nOptics of the microscope\nDiffraction\, Resolution and Contrast\n\n\n\nFluorescence and Confocal Microscopy\n\nFluorescence microscopy (fluorophores\, illumination…)\nBasic Confocal microscopy (lasers\, multi-dimensional image acquisition\, live imaging …)\n\n\n\nWhen? 23rd and 25th of August\, from 9:00 to 17:00 \nRegistration is open! \n
