SUMMARY:Online PhD course - Module II: Experimental setup\, MAX IV/ESS-based imaging for medical and biomedical research
DESCRIPTION:Description\nThis course targets\, PhD students and possibly postdocs from medical and biomedical or life science fields. This course is a continuation of cross-disciplinary course “MAX IV/ESS-based imaging for medical and biomedical research\, introduction”. The main purpose of the course is to educate graduate students on the utilization of x-ray facilities. Lectures\, presented by researchers from academia and MAX IV will include basic tutorials on the principles of synchrotron-based imaging\, as well as seminars on the application of imaging methods to a variety of medical and biomedical subjects. Students will learn how write an application for experimental time at MAX IV. \nPeriod: One week of full-time studies\, starting 1 February\, 2021.
