SUMMARY:Global BioImaging - Exchange of Experience III workshop
DESCRIPTION:3rd Exchange of Experience workshop framed within the Global BioImaging project will take place from 14th to 15th September 2018 in Sydney\, Australia. \nThis year’s workshop will bring together even more partners and interested delegates from the continuously growing GBI network\, including representatives from Australia\, Argentina\, Canada\, Europe\, Japan\, Mexico\, Singapore\, South Africa and the United States. The EoE workshops series is intended as an international communication and collaboration platform for imaging infrastructure operators including managers\, directors\, technical staff as well as scientists\, opinion leaders\, decision makers and funders. \nIn Sydney\, we aim to discuss and decide on the continuation of GBI. The GBI partners will be invited to discuss and decide on concrete common activities for the coming 2-3 years and develop a detailed plan for a long-term sustainable GBI network. In the second half of the EoE III workshop\, international experts will present best practices in quality management for imaging facilities\, and together we aim to develop an international recommendation for quality management in imaging facilities. \n  \nFor more information about the EoE III workshop and the Global BioImaging project\, please see here. \nTo register to the EoE III workshop\, please follow this link: https://www.research.net/r/registration_EoEIII \nEoE III has been planned back-to-back with the 19th International Microscopy Congress\, IMC-19 (9th-14th September). \nFrom September 17th to 21st\, GBI will organize two international training courses in Sydney\, please share this information also with your younger colleagues. Again\, we will have travel grants for European participants available. \n  \nThe EoE III workshop will take place at the Charles Perkins Centre at University of Sydney\, Australia. \n
