SUMMARY:Fundamentals of Deep Learning for Computer Vision
DESCRIPTION:\n\nThe Alexandra Institute and NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI) offer courses in deep learning with hands-on training. \nThis course covers applications within computer vision (like object recognition and object detection) and is useful for both beginners and experts. We also offer courses in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Multiple Data Types. \n\n\n\n\n\nIn this hands-on course\, you will learn the basics of deep learning by training and deploying neural networks. \nBeginners will learn what deep learning is and discover how easy it is to get started. \nExperienced developers or data scientists will learn to use and appreciate DIGIT\, which is a free and interactive tool for easy prototyping\, training and deployment of deep neural networks. \nYou will learn how to: \n\nImplement common deep learning workflows\, such as image classification and object detection.\nExperiment with data\, training parameters\, network structure and other strategies to increase performance and capability.\nDeploy your neural networks to start solving real-world problems.\n\nAfter completing the course\, you will receive a certificate from NVIDIA DLI. \nInstructor\nHenrik Pedersen (PhD) is a Senior Computer Vision Engineer at the Alexandra Institute. Over his career\, Henrik has been in various academic positions\, covering research and teaching in computer vision and deep learning. His interests lie in exploring deep learning techniques for object detection and recognition using photorealistic\, synthetic images for training. Henrik is an experienced educator and has played a key role in building up the vibrant deep learning community at the Alexandra Institute. \nAgenda\n\n\n\n9:00\nDeep Learning Demystified and Applied Deep Learning (lecture)\n\n\n9:45\nBreak\n\n\n10:00\nImage Classification with DIGITS (lab*)\n\n\n12:00\nLunch\n\n\n13:00\nObject Detection with DIGITS (lab*)\n\n\n15:00\nBreak\n\n\n15:15\nNeural Network Deployment with DIGITS and TensorRT (lab*)\n\n\n17:15\nQ&A and closing comments\n\n\n\n* Please note that attendees MUST bring their own laptops. \nPrerequisites: Programming skills (C/C++\, Python or similar)\nDuration: 8 hours\nFramework: Caffe\, NVIDIA DIGITS™\nLanguage: English \nIf you have any questions\, please send an e-mail to henrik.pedersen@alexandra.dk. \n\nFree of charge.
