SUMMARY:Bridging Nordic Microscopy Infrastructures Symposium
DESCRIPTION: \nBRIDGING NORDIC MICROSCOPY INFRASTRUCTURE (BNMI) \nThe second meeting of the Bridging Nordic Microscopy Infrastructures (BNMI) network will take place at the University of Southern Denmark. The aim of the meeting is to bring together scientists who develop or utilize biological imaging methods\, the Nordic imaging core facilities\, and representatives of industry to discuss projects and present the latest imaging technologies and processing methods.\nRegistration and more information can be found here http://event.sdu.dk/bnmi2023 \nWe are proud to present our list of exciting topics and distinguished invited speakers including:\n• Super resolution\, Christian Eggeling (Friedrich Schiller University Jena)\n• Spatial transcriptomics\, Kim Thrane (KTH Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm) and Sinem Saka (EMBL)\n• EM and Correlative imaging\, Christel Genoud (University of Lausanne) and Judith Klumpermann (UMC\, Utrecht)\,\n• SRS and Raman imaging\, Andreas Zumbusch (University of Konstanz) and Val Brunton (University of Edinburgh)\n• Light sheet microscopy\, Jan Huisken (Georg-August-University Göttingen).\n• Image analysis\, Jon Sporring (University of Copenhagen). \nThe program starts on the 22nd of August with an (optional) pre-conference day which will focus on bioimaging infrastructure facilities. The main conference will be held from the 23rd to the 25th of August.\nImportant dates:\n Early bird registration until 01-06-2023\n Registration deadline: 08-08-2023\n Oral presentation abstract deadline 01-06.2023\n Poster abstract submission deadline: 01-08-2023 \nThe symposium will be held at the University of Southern Denmark in Odense. Odense is a picturesque town situated on the island of Fyn\, right in the heart of Denmark. Odense invites its guests to wander its cobblestone streets with its many shops and rows of cafés\, to experience world-class attractions and museums\, a diverse gastronomic scene\, charming historic neighborhoods. Also\, it will be possible to participate in the H.C. Andersen Festivals which brings the city to life as it teams with 500 cultural and musical events. \n
