DESCRIPTION:\nProgramme – how to and who?\nThe EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME\, PLENARY SPEAKERS\, and FOCUS SESSIONS have been determined by the Programme Chairs with respect to your needs\, emerging technologies\, recent developments\, and in consideration of the last EMIMs. \nBUT the gross of the programme is done by you! The more abstracts are submitted in \”your\” field of research\, the more sessions will be dedicated to your research area. The abstract categories will be defined soon. Main categories can be found below. For further information and submission proceed to \nCALL for ABSTRACTS \n\n\nMAIN Categories\n\nImaging Technologies\n\n\nData Processing & Quantification\n\n\n\nNeuroimaging\n\n\nOncology Imaging\n\n\nCardiovascular Imaging\n\n\nIntra-Operative Imaging\n\n\nImaging Metabolism\n\n\nImaging Probes\, Chemistry & Reporter Genes\n\n\nImmunology\, Inflammation & Infectious Diseases\n\n\n\nEMIM 2019 SESSION TYPES\nEDUCATIONAL PROGRAMME \nTwo educational Spotlight Symposia are scheduled for 19 March from 11.00h to 17.00h: \n\nSymposium 1 \”Mass Spectrometry\”\nSymposium 2 \”Optoacoustic Imaging\”\n\nMoreover four Educational Sessions are scheduled at 19 March 2019 from 13.30h to 17.00h: \n\nOnco-Immunology\nX-ray Imaging\nIntravital Microscopy\n\nIntra-Operative Imaging\n\nThe PLENARY LECTURES leading practitioners will take us on this path from the cell to the human body. Further Plenary Lecture are dedicated to the winners of the ESMI award for excellent PhD thesis 2018 and the ESMI award winner 2019. \nEach of the 24 PARALLEL SESSIONS starts with an overview talk of about 20 min followed by six shorter talks chosen from your abstract submissions. \nSTUDY GROUP Meetings are organised by the leadership of each ESMI Study Groups and are open for everybody who is interested. \nJointly organized FOCUS SESSIONS will be held in cooperation with related societies. The set-up differs from the parallel sessions: three talks á 30 min will be given. \nScientific Speed Dating & Meet the Experts Sessions \nboth organized by the young ESMI groups. \n\n
