About

DaMBIC is the Danish Molecular Biomedical Imaging Center at the University of Southern Denmark, Odense. It houses equipment suitable for imaging specimens ranging from single molecules to cells and tissue. Exemplary case studies:

  • Live cell imaging
  • Diffusion in skin tissue
  • Transport measurements in cells and membranes
  • Cancer diagnostics
  • Super-resolution of tight junction proteins
  • Multi-photon imaging of resistance arteries
  • Membrane imaging
  • Characterization of organic LEDs and nanostructures
  • Co-localization studies
  • Food analysis
  • Calcium ions and pH measurements in tissue and cells

PhD students, postdoctoral researcher, scientific staff and external academic and industry affiliated users may access our microscopes after a training by the DaMBIC superusers.
